Universal search window needed

Many times per hour I am searching for specific products, orders, shipments and POs.
I used to have to select the module (for example "Products") before searching, but now I have to select (for example) Inventory, then Products to get to a product search window!
Instead, please provide a universal search window (always visible on all screens) to instantly display (in a scrollable side window) all related searches for all modules (e.g., products, orders, shipments, and POs) at the same time. Then I can just instantaneously click on the one I want. To see an example of this, please note the universal search window in BigCommerce (which does this very well).

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your input. Just FYI, Instead of navigating from Inventory to Products, simply click on the Inventory, Orders, and Purchase modules to pen the respective modules.
Regarding your request, I will check into it and let you know if a global search window is doable or not.

Dipan Gajjar: Maybe some kind of magnifying glass icon on the new expanding menu that gives a quick universal search option? I'm not sure. I think this would be helpful but I wouldn't want it to be obtrusive. From a coding perspective it might be tricky! Good luck!
